Are Your Supplements Doing More Harm Than Good?

Most supplements lack compelling evidence for general health maintenance and many simply lead to “expensive urine.” Yet the supplement industry, a multi-billion dollar business, is poorly regulated and built more on marketing than accountability.

That means it’s buyer beware. Consumers must trust manufacturers' ethics, many of whom prioritize profits over health. While some supplements help, many carry hidden risks like liver damage, kidney issues, high blood pressure, and more.

Before reaching for a pill, ask yourself:

  • Do the benefits outweigh the risks?

  • Am I addressing the root cause of my health concerns?

  • Would I be better served by whole, nutrient-rich foods, movement, hydration, and stress management?

Isolated nutrient pills can’t replace real, nourishing plant nutrition, sunlight, exercise, and mental well-being. Great health isn’t found in a bottle, it’s built through sustainable habits.
